Me too, though some of the ones up now make me anticipate having some of these devices used.

I'm sure there are some sub's in LA that are sampling those devices......mmmmmmmmmm

Interestingly I have never played with anyone from the local LA area in a session while at Dom Con. All that gear was for people I had already made arrangements with from here on this board.
I wanted to have very special things for them to offset the bland atmosphere of a hotel suite which I transformed with amazing amounts of gear, candles, re arrangement of furniture, incense and lighting. I am sure the hotel staff found my re arrangement of the room *interesting*.

At the after party I indulged in 5 short public scenes, all of my own desire. (People cannot request these - I approach them and ask.) The only three I did not attack in this way were irsla, starlett and svetlana. irlsa is a private player and svetlana was kept very busy being Ms Maya's party whore. starlett was slated for a project I didn't want to interfere with by marking or distracting him and he had also left on Saturday. I always do my public scenes at Dom Con on Sunday at the After Party (which I hosted). I also played in a CP scene with Ms Genesis (Ms Cyan's personal slave), Ms Mariana's slave from Portland (body bag), bullwhipped slave 8 (of LA), hardenough (body bag) and footsucker (bondage photo sculpture).

No I have not officially *scened (in a session capacity) with any LA natives during Dom Con LA, though I have imposed myself on a few for brief public spectacles when I host an event there. Owning many of my films and buying a bunch at the event is a surefire way to probably make it happen.
I do take out advertising, but I see DVD sales and site memberships evolve which is actually quite OK. I bring a lot of people I know into the event so I'm not hurting in the session department. It's nice to not be stressed when it comes to that.

Ms Boss - your pictures of the traveling dungeon are amazing. Did all that gear travel as luggage or did you ship is separately so there was no chance that the nosy TSA could see it? Just a thought to help you maintain your personal privacy from the government.

I am a proud American citizen who is not afraid of the government or the TSA (why should I be? ). I have traveled at least 1000 times with gear and have never had an issue, even in the middle east. Most of the gear on this trip was shipped UPS to save money and clothes were taken on board (with a few canes) and stowed underneath. TSA is sophisticated and knows what BDSM is, and people who work in government are also aware. Do not insult people on this forum with these types of posts, because some of them are indeed working for the government or airlines right now (and reading this) as I type this response. It is thinking like this that keeps the BDSM lifestyle down and in the shadows. It is not illegal to own BDSM gear or travel with it. Furthermore I pay taxes and I own a real business. I am not "hiding". I am an adult woman with good self esteem and no - I am not ashamed about what I do. There is enough shame in our lifestyle so I do not want it here on this board. Please - either celebrate this lifestyle, or do not post here.

I wanted to add an apology to MsBoss here because I had no intention of making this post political or to insult anyone. I only did it because I personally would be afraid to travel with any BDSM gear even in checked luggage. I commented to try and understand more about what could be traveled with safely and while at the same time maintaining privacy to everyone involved.

I have gotten some pretty cool interest in my business when I am inspected.
