i've also come to realize through this masocast that i don't think i have fetish.

Funny you should say that. I have never thought of myself as a fetishist, because I don't have a "necessary" attraction to any one thing. I'm very fond of bottoms; but Iike muscles, feet, armpits, etc, too. I've watched foot fetishists go somewhere else entirely, and I know that's not I.

But Ms Wynter's definition of fetish as "something you would get a divorce over" has me thinking. Maybe I have a "good corporal punishment" fetish. That's pretty much what I got a divorce over.

I think you Ladies work far harder than most of we subs do, physically and mentally. Nonetheless, there is *some* work for us.

My calves are often sore after a session, because I tend to rise on my tiptoes to present my ass better. Ditto sometimes my abdominals. My hands have been sore from massage. There was one memorable private encounter where my neck got quite sore from supporting Mistress weight while...

I have spent a good deal of mental effort choosing and obtaining a good present for the session. Nothing like, of course, the effort you Ladies make to furnish your dungeons and dress yourselves fabulously, but something.

Ladies give homework or prep work outside a session; that seems like a nice way to even the score a little bit.

I played with one Lady who was fond of stress positions. She would have me hold myself in a push-up position, for example, for minutes at a time, and punish me if I fell. One could imagine calisthenics combined with target practice.

Pony play is of course work for the sub. I've often toyed with the idea of getting a cart for Mistress; not because I want to be a pony, but simply to have the pleasure of pulling her.

It would be fun to use a track and have races and a gauntlet. Naked boy paintball would give us some exercise.

Domestic service, done in the way skott so admirably described, is work for us. Delightful work, but work.

I for one hope you Ladies will use as many of these techniques as please you, and more. I would far rather be put to work than take advantage of your effort!

Another intriguing and entertaining interview. It made for a much more entertaining commute, especially as I occasionally wondered if my co-straphangers were catching bits and pieces of the interview despite my headphones and being scandalized. Or titillated.

Wow! I finally listened to this. I thought it was absolutely amazing! You explore uncharted psychological terrain with penetrating insight and genuine compassion. I loved your observations about fetishism, foot fetishism in particular. Also what you said about service oriented subs being selfish, which is one of those strange paradoxes so prevalent in BDSM and D/s.

Where so many interviews just tease and titillate yours dug deep beneath the surface to unearth profound hidden truths. When you weren't giggling that is! Your laugh is very warm and infectious.
