Ms Regan, I have only done it once, in high school, for my girlfriend. She didn't even order it, I just did it as a sneaky way to feel submissive. :-)
Respectfully,
Étienne

Line writing. Not using a typing program like FondOfWriting (which does have its place), but pen and paper - sitting at a table - hours of dedication - hand cramping - learning your lesson - Line Writing. It has a number of purposes. Of course, there is punishment for poor behavior. What I appreciate most, though, is the dedication and clarity a long writing project brings to the writer. I can see and feel it, holding the finished pages in my hand, along with all the time and effort which went into the lines.
I am interested in hearing your experiences with line writing and what you get from it.
-Regan Black Dear Ms. Regan Black, With all due respect ... Oh, my ... cries ... gnashes teeth ... and clenches jaw!About six years ago, I was grounded by a Domestic Disciplinarian until I completed two monumental writing exercises as punitive consequences (for some alleged behavior on my part that she had unilaterally decided to label as "unacceptable behavior"). The first written assignment was tedious. She required me to identify certain types of "acceptable" and "unacceptable" behavior, and to provide an articulate commentary on the merits of being a well-behaved young lady. As I recall, she required a minimum length of ten handwritten pages. Plus, she also ordered me to handwrite 500 lines of something similar to: "I will not do x-y-z, or I will be soundly paddled." Both assignments took me hours to complete - aaarrgghh! As soon as I completed both writing assignments, I felt relieved. With the scribbling of every subject and verb; pronoun and adjective, I was reminded that certain rules must not be broken - or else. Additionally, I was reminded that the Domestic Disciplinarian meant what she said; and that her words were, in fact, congruent with her actions. Indeed, at that time, she was a real-time Domestic Disciplinarian and expected obedience from her charges at all times. In case you're curious: I have never been assigned any writing assignments since that time. Until later, take care! :-) Cheers and Very Respectfully, surferdoc

I seldom give such a punishment. There are not many slaves who tell Me they're into it either.

I save this for select naughty boys that know the torture of line writing. The last one I saw tried to pull a fast one on Me and actually COPIED the lines for 25-86. I was appalled and added MORE lines to be written for next time. Of course, this was after a nasty *flower* facial for it. Switch Lydia

An interesting contrast between a refined punishment and indecorous one, Ma'am.

(whispered aside to Regan) this may have something to do with your little paper fetish...
I like line writing. It's a real punishment, and I like the idea of using it for real transgressions. Yup. It's not sexy, but that's fine with me!

I have a love/hate thing with line writing because of my experience with it in catholic school. One of my teachers was a old school nun who, despite the phasing out of corporal discipline, found other ways to keep her sadistic streak going. One of her favorite methods was line writing. Actually, I am not sure if it could be considered line writing as it wasn't done for poor behavior. For example, every word I got wrong on a spelling test, I would have to write 10 times, in cursive. Doesn't sound so bad at first but my spelling wasn't my strongest trait back then and my cursive was even worse. Needless to say, for every word that she didn't like how it "looked", I had to write 5 more. I think I ended up killing a forest with all the paper I wasted. Oh and when I forgot my homework, that was even more entertaining. Write, in cursive, every question with answer, 4 times. When you have 10 questions, not fun! Once I was done with writing, she would call me to the front of the class and rip it up in front of me. To be honest, it taught me nothing. I still can't spell half the words I had to write out and I still forget my homework often however she gave me some great ideas

'however she gave me some great ideas'. I guess they will have to do with writing lines . I've done it only once, 500 lines. 500 times the same phrase. It took me some three hours. I have not been looking for it again since, but I wouldn't care to have to execute such a punishment again on the other hand. Humble regards slave of Mistress Shane

That kind of stuff is only for wiseacres that start trouble. So fortunately I never have to worry about that.
I never went to a parochial school, or anything of the sort. There was a kind of kooky, megalomaniac teacher or two in high school that did something along those lines. Of course, the rare times that I did get those type of assignments bestowed upon me, I was obviously framed.

You didn't get in trouble for scribbling? Hi, lowfi loser, No ... and I have a feeling that my scribbling is legible. Do you get into trouble for illegible writing? Until later, take care! :-) Cheers, surferdoc

It was so very long ago, Ms Regan! As best I can remember, it was complicated, since she wasn't aware of how kinky I was (we were at the age where exploring vanilla was plenty exciting). So it was in a way revealing my kinky side, and so felt daring and exhibitionist and exciting. I also felt a little penitent, though it was only over a spelling mistake. Which I repeated in every line, I might add, just for the irony of it all. Respectfully, Étienne

My slave,
In that case, maybe it's time for such a punishment again in the near future.

Thank you for sharing your experience, surferdoc.
Have you really learned your lesson or do you still x-y-z?
-Regan Black Dear Ms. Regan Black, With all due respect ... I don't recall the subject to which "x-y-z" was originally intended to refer. Clearly, I wouldn't dream of committing "x-y-z" again! <G> Until later, take care! :-) Cheers and Very Respectfully, surferdoc
